2. Medical Disclaimer

All medical treatments are provided following an assessment by one of our doctors. Information provided on our website or marketing materials is for general guidance only and does not replace individual medical advice.

Treatment suitability is determined by the assessing clinician. The Iron Infusion Centre reserves the right to decline treatment where clinically inappropriate.

3. Appointments and Payments

  • Appointment requests can be made via our website enquiry form, by phone, or by email. A doctor will review your information and confirm suitability before an appointment is offered.

  • Once suitability and appointment details are confirmed, payment instructions will be provided.
  • Payment for blood tests and consultations are required at the time of booking.

  • For intravenous iron treatment, a deposit of £150 will be taken to secure your appointment, with the remaining balance payable before or on the day of treatment.

  • Payments can be made securely by card or bank transfer.
  • Prices are subject to change, but fees confirmed at the time of booking will be honoured.

  • Missed or late appointments may incur charges (see Cancellation and Refund Policy below).

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • More than 24 hours notice: full refund or free rebooking.

  • Non-attendance without notice or cancellation less than 24 hours notice: For blood tests, consultations, or review appointments, the full fee will be charged. For intravenous iron treatments, the deposit will be retained.

  • Deposits: Deposits for intravenous iron treatments are non-refundable if cancellation is made less than 24 hours before the appointment, but may be transferred to a future booking at our discretion.

  • Clinic cancellations: If we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment for any reason, you will be offered the next available appointment or a full refund.

  • Refunds are not issued once treatment has been provided, except where required by law.

5. Medical Suitability

If our doctor determines that intravenous iron treatment is not suitable based on your medical history, blood results or clinical assessment, you may be offered an alternative or advised not to proceed.

A consultation fee may still apply to cover the time and professional assessment provided.

If you are deemed unsuitable for treatment after booking, any deposits or payments for treatment will be refunded in full.

6. Test Results and Follow-Up

Blood results are typically reviewed by one of our doctors within 2–3 working days of collection.
You will be contacted if any further action or discussion is needed before proceeding with treatment.

A follow-up appointment is usually recommended 4–6 weeks after your infusion to review your response and discuss any repeat testing if appropriate.

Following treatment, we normally send a brief discharge summary to your GP to support continuity of care.
If you prefer that your GP is not informed, please let us know in writing — your wishes will be fully respected.
