Health records are retained for a minimum of 8 years after the last episode of care, in line with Department of Health guidelines.
After the retention period, information is securely deleted or anonymised so it can no longer identify you.

Clinical records created in connection with your care at The Iron Infusion Centre are held under the data-controller responsibility of Stanilov Medical Ltd (trading as SML Surgical Care). The Iron Infusion Centre Ltd acts as a Data Processor and is contractually bound to follow SML Surgical Care’s data protection policies.
When our subcontracting arrangement with SML Surgical Care ends, all patient data remain under SML Surgical Care’s control. Any future migration or transfer of patient data to another system or provider will only occur with SML’s authorisation and in compliance with UK GDPR, using secure transfer protocols and, where required, patient consent.
This Privacy Policy and any dispute or claim arising from it (including non-contractual matters) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
