1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of The Iron Infusion Centre’s services and website (ironinfusion.co.uk). By booking an appointment, making a payment, or using our site, you agree to these terms.

The Iron Infusion Centre is a trading name of The Iron Infusion Centre Ltd, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 16700342).

Registered office: 4th Floor, Fitzrovia House, 153–157 Cleveland Street, London, W1T 6QW
Clinic location: 59 Mount Pleasant, London, WC1X 0AY

Clinical services are delivered in appropriate clinical settings in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and clinical governance standards, including where services are provided within partner healthcare facilities.

These Terms and Conditions should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

2. Medical Disclaimer

All medical treatments are provided following an assessment by one of our doctors. Information provided on our website or marketing materials is for general guidance only and does not replace individual medical advice.

Treatment suitability is determined by the assessing clinician. The Iron Infusion Centre reserves the right to decline treatment where clinically inappropriate.

3. Appointments and Payments

  • Appointment requests can be made via our website enquiry form, by phone, or by email. A doctor will review your information and confirm suitability before an appointment is offered.

  • Once suitability and appointment details are confirmed, payment instructions will be provided.
  • Payment for blood tests and consultations is required at the time of booking.

  • For intravenous iron treatment, a deposit of £150 will be taken to secure your appointment, with the remaining balance payable before or on the day of treatment.

  • Payments can be made securely by card or bank transfer.
  • Prices are subject to change, but fees confirmed at the time of booking will be honoured.

  • Missed or late appointments may incur charges (see Cancellation and Refund Policy below).

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Consultations and blood tests are paid in full at the time of booking.

  • For intravenous iron treatment, a £150 deposit is required to secure your appointment, with the remaining balance payable before or on the day of treatment.

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment will receive a full refund or may be transferred to a future booking.

  • Cancellations made 24–48 hours before the scheduled appointment will incur a £50 cancellation fee, which will be deducted from the deposit.

  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment, or non-attendance, are non-refundable, and the deposit will be retained.

  • Clinic cancellations: If we need to cancel or reschedule your appointment for any reason, you will be offered the next available appointment or a full refund.

  • Refunds are not issued once treatment has been provided, except where required by law.

5. Medical Suitability

If our doctor determines that intravenous iron treatment is not suitable based on your medical history, blood results or clinical assessment, you may be offered an alternative or advised not to proceed.

A consultation fee may still apply to cover the time and professional assessment provided.

If you are deemed unsuitable for treatment after booking, any deposits or payments for treatment will be refunded in full.

6. Test Results and Follow-Up

Blood results are typically reviewed by one of our doctors within 2–3 working days of collection.
You will be contacted if any further action or discussion is needed before proceeding with treatment.

A follow-up appointment is usually recommended 6–8 weeks after your infusion to assess your clinical response and review any repeat blood tests if appropriate.

Following treatment, we normally send a brief discharge summary to your GP with your consent, to support continuity of care.
If you prefer that your GP is not informed, please let us know in writing — your wishes will be fully respected.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

We take your privacy and confidentiality seriously. All personal and medical data are handled in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and the General Medical Council’s guidance on confidentiality.

Your information is used solely for the purpose of providing and managing your care, maintaining clinical records, and meeting our legal and regulatory obligations. Information may be shared with other healthcare professionals involved directly in your care — such as your GP — with your consent, unless there is a legal or safety requirement to do otherwise.

Data Controller
The Iron Infusion Centre Ltd acts as the Data Controller for all personal and clinical data collected in the course of providing its services.

Where services are delivered within partner clinics or facilities, those providers may act as independent data controllers in respect of their own operational, regulatory, or clinical governance responsibilities.

For full details of how we collect, use, and protect your information, please see our Privacy Policy.

8. Liability

We take all reasonable steps to ensure patient safety and to provide a high standard of clinical care. All medical procedures carry some degree of risk, which will be discussed with you as part of the informed consent process prior to treatment.

The Iron Infusion Centre Ltd and its clinicians shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from treatment, except where this results from negligence, breach of duty, or where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under English law.

Patients are responsible for providing accurate and complete medical information and for informing us of any changes to their health, medications, or allergies prior to treatment. We shall not be responsible for any adverse outcome arising from incomplete or inaccurate information provided.

By using our services or website, you agree that any disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
